1. CONTEST TIME PERIOD

    The JELD-WEN® Canada 2022 WRLA Building & Hardware Showcase Spin to Win (the “Contest”) begins at 8:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on March 30, 2022 and ends at 7:00 PM EST on April 1, 2022 (the “Contest Period”). There are two (2) components to this Contest: (a) One (1) Grand Prize draw from all Purchase Orders received between 8:00 AM EST on March 30, 2022 and 7:00 PM EST on April 1, 2022 (the “Contest Period”), (b) A spin to win for a single prize based on the submission of a Purchase order during the contest time period. All Spin to Win Purchase Order submissions will be validated by JELD-WEN prior to redemption.

  2. ELIGIBILITY

    The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside, excluding Quebec, who are a sales associate at participating authorized JELD-WEN dealers who work at the contractor desk, selling products to “Consumers”. Excluded from eligibility are employees of JELD-WEN Canada (“Sponsor”), its advertising agencies, promotional agencies, fulfillment houses and reward suppliers, each of their respective parent, affiliated and related companies, suppliers of the materials and services related to this Contest, and members of the immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households (whether or not related) of such employees and agents. Employees of authorized JELD-WEN dealers participating in the promotion are eligible for each the Grand Prize, and the Spin to Win prizes).

  3. HOW TO REGISTER AND ENTER

    Each entrant must submit a Purchase Order to their JELD-WEN Territory Sales Manager during the contest period. The JELD-WEN Territory Sales Manager will provide a link to the Spin to Win prize Wheel. Entrants must complete a registration form in order to complete a Spin to Win. Limit: One (1) Spin per person. Duplication, or any attempts to exceed the maximum number of registrations per person is a violation of these Official Contest Rules and may result in disqualification.

    Each registration earns a single ballot for the Grand prize during the period submitted. A spin is earned for any Purchase Order submitted during to the contest period. Use of automated devices is prohibited; automated entries (including but not limited to entries submitted using any robotic, script, macro, or other automated service) are not permitted and may result in disqualification.

  4. 2022 WRLA Building & Hardware Showcase Spin To Win
    1. Participants receive a Spin to Win through the successful submission of a Purchase Order of qualifying products. All Purchase Orders will be validated by JELD-WEN Canada prior to redeeming prizes. JELD-WEN Canada reserves the right to substitute prizes, not all incentives will be awarded as shown. Prize value is based on approximate retail price and may not reflect market value at time the incentive is awarded.
    2. The following products are “Spin to Win Prizes” in this Contest eligible to be claimed by JELD-WEN customers upon successful verification, to the satisfaction of JELD-WEN Canada, of achieving the goals associated with the 2022 WRLA Building & Hardware Showcase Spin To Win as outlined above.

  5. SPIN TO WIN PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

    One spin is earned for the submission of a Purchase Order during the contest period, subject to JELD-WEN verification. Only one spin per entrant will be accepted.

  6. GRAND PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

    The Grand Prize for the contest period to be awarded on or about April 8, 2022 at approximately 1:00 PM CST in Winnipeg, Manitoba, one (1) random draw will be conducted by the Judging Organization from all entries received from the eligible JELD-WEN Dealers, throughout the Contest Period in Canada.

    The odds of being selected as eligible to win the Grand Prize (as defined in Rule 9 below) will depend on the total number of eligible entries received throughout the Contest Period. If you are selected as eligible to win the Grand Prize, you will be contacted by telephone or email by your JELD-WEN Territory Sales Manager, or JELD-WEN Representative approximately two (2) business days of the draw at the telephone number or email address you provided when you registered. See Reward claim conditions in Rule 7 below.

  7. REWARD CLAIM CONDITIONS

    Before being declared the recipient of the Grand Prize, each selected entrant must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical, electronic or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered at a mutually convenient time by telephone, email or fax within twenty-four (24) hours of live contact with a JELD-WEN Representative. Each selected entrant will also be required to complete and return to Sponsor (or its authorized agent) by the deadline specified in the documents, a written declaration and release (the “Declaration and Release”), declaring such entrant’s eligibility to be selected as a Grand Prize winner and compliance with these Official Contest Rules and releasing Sponsor, participating retailers, and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, partners, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with this Contest, or the use, misuse or possession of any reward and any travel related thereto. Grand Prizes will only be awarded to verified winners. Return of any reward or reward notification as undeliverable, inability to reach the selected entrant, failure of selected entrant to respond to notification within two (2) business days of first attempt by a JELD-WEN Representative, failure of selected entrant to provide any required proof of eligibility, the completed Declaration and Release, or other required documentation within two (2) days, failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or other non-compliance with these Official Contest Rules may result in disqualification, forfeiture of the Reward and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion selection of an alternate eligible entrant who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner.

  8. 2022 WRLA Building & Hardware Showcase

    The prize type is randomly determined by the “Spin to Win” software based on the number of spins and prize inventory availability. Limit: One (1) Prize per person. The winning of a Spin to Win prize does not exclude the winner from the Grand Prize draw. The use, likeness, and award of any reward listed below is not necessarily an endorsement of JELD-WEN Canada or associated brands by the manufacturer. All rights to names, logos, trademarks, images, likeness or otherwise is retained by the manufacturer.

  9. GRAND PRIZE

    There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won. The Grand Prize winner may choose from one (1) of the Grand Prize Options. Consisting of either one (1) SodaStream Fizzi Sparkling Water Maker Bundle or (1) Delonghi Espresso and Cappuccino Maker with two Espresso Glasses. Approximate retail value of $200.00. All costs not outlined in the above Grand Prize description are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner including, without limitation, applicable taxes, fuel/currency surcharges, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature. No Grand Prize winner can be changed after the declaration and release (the “Release”) has been executed and received by the Sponsor. Any Grand Prize forfeited may, at Sponsor’s option, be awarded to an alternate entrant. THE GRAND PRIZE MUST BE ACCEPTED AS AWARDED. THE PRIZE MAY NOT BE SOLD, TRANSFERRED AND IS NOT CONVERTIBLE TO CASH. SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE THE PRIZE IN WHOLE OR IN PART IN THE EVENT THAT ANY COMPONENT OF THE PRIZE IS UNAVAILABLE

  10. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS

    Spin to Win & Grand prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash or otherwise; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of approximate equal or greater value at its sole discretion, if a prize, or any component of any prize, cannot be awarded as described herein for any reason. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties, and disclaims any implied warranties, with respect to the Spin to Win or Grand prizes. Winners are solely responsible for all costs not specifically identified above as included.

  11. PERSONAL INFORMATION

    Sponsor and its authorized agents will only use and disclose the personal information you provide when you register and enter the 2022 WRLA Building & Hardware Showcase Spin to Win for the purposes of administering the Contest and prize fulfillment, unless you otherwise agree. By accepting a prize, recipient agrees to Sponsor’s use of his/her name, city/province of residence, biographical information, statements, voice and likeness in any advertising and publicity Sponsor may conduct relating to the Contest in any media or format, whether now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time or times in perpetuity, without further compensation or notice. Aggregate and/or anonymized Contest participant information may be used by the Sponsor to communicate about the Contest to its retailers and distributors.   12. RIGHT TO VOID/TERMINATE/SUSPEND/MODIFY

    Any ballots, sales receipts, purchase orders or additional materials used in this Contest which have been tampered with, mutilated, altered, forged, reproduced, not legitimately obtained, are illegible or which contain or reflect computer, software, printing, production or other errors will be void. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation if, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Contest Rules. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if the Contest, or any part thereof, is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, printing errors, programming errors, seeding errors, technical failures, or any causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and: (a) terminate the Contest, or any portion thereof; (b) modify or suspend the Contest, or any portion thereof, to address the impairment and then resume the Contest, or relevant portion, in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Contest Rules; and/or (c) award the prizes from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment in accordance with the winner selection criteria discussed above. No more than the above-stated number of Prizes will be awarded. Should any error of any kind, whether technological, printing, production, human or otherwise, or any other event result in more prizes being claimed that the number stated above, the prizes not yet awarded may be awarded in a random drawing from amongst all eligible claimants who have not yet received a prize. In any such drawing, the selected entrants must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical, electronic or otherwise, a mathematical time-limited skill-testing question to be administered by telephone, email or fax, and exclude any documents as may be required before being declared a recipient.

  13. GENERAL CONDITIONS

    Participation is contingent on fulfilling all the requirements set forth herein. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Mass entries, automated entries, entries submitted by third parties, and any entries or incentive claims that are late, incomplete, fraudulent, illegible, unidentified or delayed unless expressively permitted in the above rules and regulations will be void. All entries and claims are subject to verification. Proof of entry submission does not constitute proof of receipt. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Official Contest Rules. Decisions of Sponsor and/or the Judging Organization will be final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Contest and/or Contest Website, violates the Official Contest Rules, or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS CONTEST OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the person who submitted an entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at registration will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an access provider, service provider, or other person or organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the account associated with the submitted address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.

  14. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES

    BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT THE SPONSOR, THE PRIZE MANUFACTURERS, THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT, RELATED AND AFFILIATED COMPANIES, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASEES”) HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY RESULTING FROM: A) A PRIZE, INCLUDING THE ACCEPTANCE, PARTICIPATION IN, MISUSE OR USE OF AND ANY TRAVEL RELATED THERETO; B) ENTRY OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST, INCLUDING ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE CONTEST WEBSITE, OR C) ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PERSONALITY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY. Without limiting the foregoing, the Releases, and any of Sponsor’s other agencies, suppliers or contractors, shall not be responsible for: (a) any incomplete or inaccurate information that is caused by the Contest Website users, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest; (b) lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, service provider, on-line systems, telephone networks or telephone lines, or any other connections; (c) the theft, destruction, loss or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (d) any problems with, or malfunctions or failures of, telephone networks or lines, computers or computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, viruses or bugs; (e) garbled transmissions or miscommunications; (f) failure of any e-mail to be received by or from the Judging Organization or Sponsor for any reason, including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof or technical incompatibility; (g) damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware) occasioned by participation or downloading of materials related to this Contest; (h) printing, distribution, programming or production errors, and any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise; or (i) technical, pictorial, typographical or editorial errors or omissions contained herein.
